Valentine's Day Jams

I guess this isn't your standard list consistent of D'Angelo and Trey Songz and Mariah Carey... but, these are the songs right now that are making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
yes i'm ashamed that Dave Matthews is on here twice. it may have some subconscious meaning, since I met my boyfriend in high school- when DMB was full force in my life..

Here's my playlist in text form, then in video of my favorite live versions.
1. Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
2. Prince- Purple Rain
3. Kings of Leon- Cold Desert
4. Led Zeppelin - Going to California
5. Procol Harum- Whiter Shade of Pale
6. Led Zeppelin- I Can't Quit You Babe
7. Dave Matthews + Tim Reynolds- Say Goodbye
8. Eric Clapton (Derek & The Dominos) - Bell Bottom Blues
9. Dave Matthews + Tim Reynolds- The Stone
10. Fleetwood Mac- Never Going Back Again

Pour Some Honey On Me

I've recently been really in to skin care products.  This does not mean I'm buying up all the la Mer or Kate Sommerville products I can.

I'm completely satisfied with the products I've been using from CVS, along with a couple I've accumulated over the last couple months that people have given me.

I've also been turned on to all the home remedy skin care solutions people "live by".

I'm about to try the "Lemon Honey" Face Mask.

It consists of.... lemon. and honey.

Holla.

Mix a little of both in a bowl and rub it on your clean face.

Leave it on for 10-15 minutes, until it tighten and firms on your skin.

Then you wash it off with cold water.

Then your face looks refreshed and bright, like sunlight, hitting the morning dew.

The mixture helps fade facial discoloration, working together to fade age spots and freckles and brighten skin tone.  Ooo!

You can also add it to your green tea when your done, to boost your metabolism. No waste!

If you're not in to the DIY,,,, try these inexpensive products, because I use them and I said so.

Freemans Avocado + Oatmeal Mask. $3.99 @ CVS

Freemans Peel Off Cucumber Mask. $3.99 @ CVS

I love doing these masks on the weekends. They make my face feel super soft and clean.

If you want to feel a little better about yourself by spending more money and therefore the product should work better, I recommend the Become beauty products-
$49, Become.com

$29, Become.com

I use the Smoothing gel with my Clarisonic (when its charged..)

$63, Clarins, in department stores.

$59, Clarins, department stores.

Gotta love toner

I really do think that its more about staying consistent with using the products you choose, than which specific products you're using.  I can't say that I use all of these everyday, or even every week. But when I do use them at least 3 times a week, I ALWAYS notice a significant difference in the way my skin looks and feels.

So, there you have it. I recommend taking about 30-45min on a Saturday or Sunday morning and give yourself a FACIAL.

EMA- California

Completely in love with this song right now by EMA.

Now let me go throw on my leather and shades

Going Back To The West Coast

To all my Monster Ball friends, I'll never forget this experience with you.xoxo

Lady Gaga - You And I

This performance is amazing, but more importantly, this is one of my favorite hair creations I have seen on her.  It was created by one of my best friends,  Frederic Aspiras, who is one of the most talented artists ever.  Love the full, xxxLong blonde hair-- not to mention that her mask is made of HAIR! A lot of work and passion that went in to the beautiful creation, which made the performance even more special.

Check out her performance on Oprah this past week!

Young Americans

This look is a little different for me, more traditional and clean, but I really like it and I wish I could wear it.
And I think it would look fab on my bf Emma.
